Skits & Giggles

I concepted the virtual environments, costumes and characters for this VR variety show within Meta Horizon and led a team of 3D artists and creative technologists. Starting off with sketches and moodboards, I worked with the director to define the sets style and spatial design that worked best for the audience, actors and crew. Interaction was add to every scene, be it picking up cocktail glasses, costumes, puppets and throwable props.

Meet Chompers

I designed this character and oversaw building of the wearable costume. Within Horizon, a wearable script was created that allowed the actor to snap the costume to their avatar automatically linking the actors hand controllers to Chompers arms. The eyes were scripted to have a “look at” the closest avatar and its mouth closed on anything that came close, which really gave the character some life.
